The Pupparazzi iPhone app allows users to identify the breed of a dog either by taking a photo or answering questions based on the appearance the user has in mind. The first screen of this app shows three options:
1) Identify by photo
2) Identify by questions
3) View favorite photos and breeds
The first scenerio shows how to identify a breed by taking a photo. Once the breed has been identified, the user can select the paw icon (bottom right) to add breeds and/or photos to their "Favorites."
Breeds and photos can be viewed from either the "Result" screen or within the user's "Favorites." The last scenerio shows what happens when the user selects a specific breed or photo. When selecting a breed, the user is brought to a screen that contains basic information about the breed. When selecting a photo, the user is brought to a screen that contains all photos of that breed, taken by users of the app. Users are able to "Favorite" photos and leave comments.Graphic Design, Interaction Design2012 -

A collaboration between Rachal Tai, Jane Gardner & Anjana Singhwi for Parson's Interaction Core: Studio class. Our goal was to create a pattern-making app on the iPad, with our target group being both designers and non-designers. We based the paradigm of the work space on Adobe Photoshop, allowing designers to feel more intuitive with the app. We also added labels underneath the buttons to allow users who are not familiar with Adobe Photoshop to understand and use the app with ease. Below contains part of our app, showing how to apply a kaleidoscope effect onto a preset pattern from the pattern library. A video of our user testing is also included.Interaction Design2012 -

Double sided wooden umbrella made with balsa wood. The concept of this project was to create a 3D model based on the structure of an umbrella that protects you from something. Taking more of a humorous approach, this double sided umbrella would be held horizontally at the waist, creating a sense of personal space on each side that would protect someone from crowded areas. The ribs are connected to the hubs with wire that is wrapped through the inside.Wood Working2011 -
